We have once again teamed up with Naturally Green Vermont to offer holiday wreaths to Rosa Parks MS family and friends. A portion of the sales will be donated to the Rosa Parks MS PTA to help support our programs. Orders must be received by November 5th. Payment is due when you pick up your wreath. (Cash or checks made out to RPMS PTA) Wreaths will be delivered to RPMS the week after Thanksgiving. We will contact you when your wreaths are ready to be picked up.
Montgomery County Public Schools is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new Student Information System. A component of the Student Information System would include a new Parent/Student portal. Below, share your ideal experience for using an online parent portal related to the listed categories.

The Award-winning Champion Sherwood High School Pom Squad will hold a Pom Day Camp for all interested students from grades Pre-Kindergarten through High School. The Day Camp will be held at Sherwood High School on Saturday, November 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 if pre-registered, and includes rooter pompoms, snacks, photo souvenir, and instruction in pompon skills, techniques, and a dance routine. At 11:30 a.m., parents and fans are invited to a recital to showcase the girls’ work, as well as a performance by the 2018-2019 award-winning Sherwood High School Pom Squad. Proceeds from the semi-annual event continue to support MedStar Montgomery Campaign for Oncology and Sherwood Athletics. To pre-register, forms will be available at all cluster elementary and middle schools and SHS, or send a check for $25.00 made out to Sherwood High School and the following information; child’s name, address, phone, email, age, and grade in school to Mrs. Jeanne D. Laeng, Pom Sponsor, Sherwood High School,300 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Sandy Spring, MD 20860. Walk-in Registrations will be accepted on the day of camp at 8:30 a.m., Saturday. Rosa Parks is looking for parents to join the Diversity Committee and participate in Multicultural Night. There will be a meeting on Monday, November 5th at 3:15 in the Media Center. We will discuss the goal and overview of MC Night (including time) and share ideas.

Tuesday, October 9th at 6:30 pm. There will be an important presentation on suicide prevention followed by a presentation on High School programs. All families and students are invited. We have also invited Farquhar Middle School to join us.
