2018/11/10 – Sherwood Poms Day Camp

The Award-winning Champion Sherwood High School Pom Squad will hold a Pom Day Camp for all interested students from grades Pre-Kindergarten through High School. The Day Camp will be held at Sherwood High School on Saturday, November 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 if pre-registered, and includes rooter pompoms, snacks, photo souvenir, and instruction in pompon skills, techniques, and a dance routine.  At 11:30 a.m., parents and fans are invited to a recital to showcase the girls’ work, as well as a performance by the 2018-2019 award-winning Sherwood High School Pom Squad.  Proceeds from the semi-annual event continue to support MedStar Montgomery Campaign for Oncology and Sherwood Athletics.  To pre-register, forms will be  available at all cluster elementary and middle schools and SHS, or send a check for $25.00 made out to Sherwood High School and the following information; child’s name, address, phone, email, age, and grade in school to Mrs. Jeanne D. Laeng, Pom Sponsor, Sherwood High School,300 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Sandy Spring, MD 20860.  Walk-in Registrations will be accepted on the day of camp at 8:30 a.m., Saturday. 2018/11/05 – Rosa Parks Multicultural Night Meeting

February 28th  (Snow Date: March 7th)
Rosa Parks is looking for parents to join the Diversity Committee and participate in Multicultural Night. There will be a meeting on Monday, November 5th at 3:15 in the Media Center. We will discuss the goal and overview of MC Night (including time) and share ideas.

Dolphin Newsletter PTA Update

WE NEED YOU! There is still time to join. Membership this year is $40 and includes two adult members. You can print a form from the website http://www.rpmspta.org/join-the-pta/and send it in with your child.

New Online Directory

Via MySchoolAnywhere Portal

We are excited to be using the online portal, MySchoolAnywhere (MSA), to help manage the our PTA!  We will be using MSA to send e-mails to the Rosa Parks Middle School community, to manage our committee/volunteer sign-ups, for our online family directory (which includes a mobile app), and for all of our online purchases including your membership dues, donations, spirit wear, etc.
